Shipping Policy

LAST UPDATED: JUNE 22, 2026 DOCUMENT: ESS-SHIP

Equipment Service and Supply provides advisory services delivered electronically. This policy explains how services and deliverables are delivered and clarifies our role where physical equipment is involved.

01

Overview

Equipment Service and Supply provides professional advisory services rather than physical goods sold directly to you. This Shipping Policy explains how our services and deliverables are delivered, and clarifies our role where physical equipment is involved in an engagement.

02

Service delivery

Our services are delivered remotely and electronically. Discovery sessions, reviews, and advisory meetings are conducted by phone, video, or in writing. We do not ship a physical product to you as part of our consulting services, so standard product shipping charges and carrier timelines do not apply to our fees.

03

Deliverables and access

Where an engagement produces deliverables — such as procurement recommendations, supplier evaluations, maintenance plans, cost analyses, or specifications — these are provided to you electronically in a suitable document format, or presented during a working session. We will confirm the format and method of delivery in your proposal or statement of work.

04

Timelines

The schedule for delivering analysis and deliverables is agreed as part of your engagement. Timelines depend on the scope of work, the completeness of the information you provide, and, where relevant, the responsiveness of suppliers we contact on your behalf. We communicate proactively if a timeline needs to be adjusted.

05

Physical equipment

Some engagements involve helping you source physical equipment from suppliers. In those cases, the equipment is supplied, shipped, and invoiced by the relevant supplier or manufacturer, not by Equipment Service and Supply. The supplier’s own shipping, lead-time, delivery, and acceptance terms apply to that equipment.

Equipment Service and Supply is not the seller or shipper of physical equipment. We act in an advisory and coordinating role; the purchase and delivery contract is between you and the supplier.

06

Logistics coordination

As part of our supply chain and procurement services, we can help you plan and coordinate logistics — for example, by comparing lead times, reviewing delivery terms, and aligning timelines with your site readiness. This coordination is advisory. The actual transport, freight, and handling are performed by the supplier or by logistics providers engaged for that purpose.

07

Title and risk

Title to and risk in any physical equipment pass according to the terms agreed between you and the supplier, including the applicable delivery or incoterm provisions in the supplier’s contract. Equipment Service and Supply does not take title to or possession of equipment purchased for your operation unless expressly agreed in writing.

08

Cross-border considerations

Where equipment is sourced across borders, additional factors may apply, such as customs clearance, duties, taxes, documentation, and compliance requirements. These are governed by the supplier’s terms and by applicable law, and any related charges are typically the responsibility of the buyer. We can advise on these factors as part of an engagement, but we do not act as a customs broker or carrier.

09

Delays outside our control

Delivery of physical equipment may be affected by events beyond our control, including supplier production schedules, carrier performance, weather, customs processing, and other supply chain disruptions. Because we are not the seller or shipper, we are not responsible for such delays, though we will use reasonable efforts to keep you informed and to help you manage the impact within our advisory role.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and the date below will be revised. We encourage you to review this page so that you understand how our services and any related equipment are delivered.
